All submitted abstracts have been reviewed and assigned into two categories, either a workshop oral and poster presentation, or a poster presentation.
Please note that all abstracts will be presented as posters and some will have opportunities to present orally as well.

We notified this result to presenting/first authors on April 30, 2010.
Details such as presentation date/time and place have also been notified on June 14, 2010.

Call for Abstracts

All accepted abstracts will be presented as poster presentations. Workshop presentations will be selected from poster presenters and relevant authors will be notified accordingly by the Program Committee.

Submission Fee to IUIS: $US20 / abstract

Language: All abstracts must be written in English.

Title and Abstract: Include in the title of the abstract all the words critical for a subject index. The body of your abstract should be no more than 250 words. Figures or tables may not be used. 

Keywords: Authors should select up to five keywords to help others find the abstracts.

Support: Enter the source(s) of contributed support. Grant numbers may be listed in this section.

Notification of Acceptance or Rejection: Only the presenting/first author will receive the email notification of acceptance or rejection and the session information, and is responsible for informing all co-authors of the status of the abstract.

Workshop Topics

When submitting an abstract, all authors are requested to choose a topic most appropriate. Workshop chairperson will review and select abstracts for oral presentations.

ICI 2010 Travel Bursary Program

ICI 2010 is pleased to announce the results of the travel bursary program as follows.
An e-mail notifying the status of travel bursary application was sent to all applicants on April 26.

Applications were carefully reviewed and recipients selected by the members of the ICI 2010 Travel Committee.

1) List of Recipients of a Travel Bursary of US $1,000 for Researchers from Developing Countries

* The list includes the recipients of 15 AAI-ICI travel bursaries, and 10 from IUIS for students from developing countries

* Researchers/students from developing countries: In principle, non-OECD nationality.

Thanks to the generous support by AAI, 10 additional bursaries are made available.
Names of the 10 additional recipients are added at the end of the existing Recipient List.

* A e-mail notification with information on how to claim the Travel Bursary was sent to all recipients on July 26. If you are a recipient and has not received this notification, please contact the Secretariat (ici2010bursary@congre.co.jp) immediately.

* It is the responsibility of the recipient to be present at the Congress and claim his/her Travel Bursary at the designated time and location indicated on the e-mail notification. Payment cannot be made neither before nor after the Congress.

* Recipients must be properly registered for the congress with payment of required fee.

* Travel Bursary will be paid upon presentation of a valid photo ID and a copy of the e-mail notification.

* Every recipient may only receive one Travel Bursary.

* Travel Bursary is not transferable.

* Neither the Organizing Committee nor the Congress Secretariat will be able to answer individual question as to why an application was accepted or rejected.

* If you are unable to attend the Congress, please inform the Secretariat (ici2010bursary@congre.co.jp) at your earliest convenience.


Travel awards provided by national/regional immunology societies

There are other sources for funding available. So far immunological societies of Australia & NZ, Canada, China, Japan and the Republic of Korea and organizations such as EFIS and FIMSA have joined to this effort. They may limit applications to their own society members. Please check directly with the respective societies for details.
