The 14th International Congress of Immunology will be held
at the Kobe Convention Center Complex on Port Island in Kobe,
a major city in the Kansai region of Japan.

Kobe Convention Center Complex Overview

Constructed in 1981, the Kobe Convention
Center Complex is located on Port Island,
an artificial island in Kobe. It features a convenient network
of convention facilities that include the Kobe
International Conference Center, Kobe
International Exhibition Hall, and Portopia
Hotel. This convention complex is an ideal location
for combining an international conference with a large exhibition.
Moreover, the area is provided with ample English-language
signage, making it easy for overseas visitors to travel to
and from downtown Kobe.
The convention site also offers easy access
to other Kansai cities such as Kyoto, Nara, Himeji and Osaka,
which offer many world-renowned historic sites of great interest
to visitors from abroad.

Kobe International Conference Center
The Kobe International Conference Center offers a selection of 21 meeting rooms of different sizes. The 692-seat Main Hall and 360-seat International Conference Room feature state-of-the-art six-language simultaneous interpretation systems and audiovisual equipment.

Portopia Hall and Portopia Hotel
Portopia Hotel is connected directly to the Kobe International Conference Center by a roofed pedestrian walkway. In addition, the hotel has 37 versatile banquet and meeting rooms. The 1700-seat Portopia Hall is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and audiovisual equipment, including a six-language simultaneous interpretation system.

Kobe International Exhibition Hall
Kobe International Exhibition Hall No. 1 features 6,000 square meters of exhibition space. Hall No. 2 has four meeting rooms in addition to 3,800 square meters of floor space, which may be subdivided with moveable partitions into smaller spaces of 2,000 and 1,800 square meters.
